SEMINAR IN PEDAGOGY

           On 4th February 2023, In pedagogy classroom we have conducted a seminar about computer science in pedagogy. We are taken the topics Approaches of teaching, Methods of teaching and Instructional media.

       In pedagogy of computer science I taught a topic Self-Learning: Activity Based Learning (ABL), Active Learning Method (ALM)-Mind Map, Advanced Active Learning Method (AALM)

ACTIVITY BASED LEARNING

           The Activity Based Learning approach is a child-centric and activity based programme is a pedagogical approach that has been adopted in primary schools in certain parts of India.

• Expression

ACTIVE LEARNING METHOD

                 Active learning refers to techniques where students do mote than simply listen to a lecture. Active learning derives from two basic assumptions:

1.     That learning is by nature an active endeavour 
2.     That different people learn in different ways (Meyers and Jones, 1993) 

ADVANCED ACTIVE LEARNING METHOD

             Advanced active learning formats are designed to engage a students critical thinking skills and apply previous and new knowledge to real life scenarios.
